The Ryukei Saifu Room

Go down Changhong Tianlu, and the room at the very end is the Ryukei Saifu Room.

Rows of red-tiled roofs, Fukugi trees and Ryukyu limestone walls surrounding the estates, and glimpses of the blue sea and sky peeking through the gaps. And the red of the deigo flowers, set against that blue.

We chose the name “Ryukei” because it evokes the scenery of Okinawa.

When you see that view, don’t you feel as if you can almost sense the vivid colors, the sunlight, and the pleasant sea breeze blowing gently?

I want viewers to not only see the landscape painting but also feel the atmosphere it conveys. With that in mind, I named this series “Ryukei Saifu.”

We hope you’ll experience the atmosphere of the Ryukyu Islands—it’s almost as if you can hear the sound of the sanshin.
