The "Jade Crown and Jade Tower" Chamber is a bedroom located next to the "Ryūgū Red Hall" Chamber.

The crowns of the Ryukyu Kingdom were studded with jade, coral, and pearls, and were known as “jade crowns.”
Although the Ryukyu Kingdom was subject to the tributary system with China (the Ming and Qing dynasties), and its crown system was thus greatly influenced by it, this “jade crown” evolved independently based on Ryukyu’s own aesthetic sensibilities.
Furthermore, while “Gyokuro” refers to a beautiful building or pavilion adorned with gold and jade, this room—with its jade crown decorations and the golden hues of the Bingata dyeing technique—has become a beautiful space known as “Gyokuro,” symbolizing the beauty and dignity of the Ryukyu Kingdom.
We named it “Tamakaku Tamaro”—a space truly worthy of such a historical and poetic name.
